St. John's - Trivandrum, India film

November last year I had the privilege to go on a research trip to India for an up-and-coming documentary project we intend to materialise over the next 2 years. Part of our research was a visit to the orphanage school of St. John's in Trivandrum India. I was asked to make a short film to help the organization with their constant fundraising efforts. Over two days the camera captured as much material as possible to hopefully create a short story.

Not every job is a dream job

Not every job is a dream job and with some jobs you just need to get on with it. One might have some inspiring ideas, however the outcome is not always something that moves me. Especially working with famous musicians one is limited with what you are
allowed to do.

The Zermatt Unplugged festival film really opened so many doors for me. I was hoping it would send me more into the music video world, however it generated much more than I could ever wish for. April will see another great line-up for the unplugged music festival and this time they wanted me to produce their 20sec TV commercial. With an ultra low budget, only for editing, and no money for shooting, I had to make use of existing material from last year's film. Never really blown away by making use of old footage, I tried my best to make the most of it. Well, at least it's nice to see it airing on national Swiss TV SRF.

Here is the commercial
